General Summary:
The Sr. Manager of Human Resources is responsible for leading a global team of entry level to experienced professionals focused on ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, driving employee engagement, and talent management initiatives This role supports cross-functional teams to oversee and manage the implementing of HR policies, programs, and initiatives that align with the overall strategic goals of the organization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results
- Manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments
- Influences others outside of their own job regarding policies, practices, and procedures
- Contributes to policy and strategy implementation for short-term results
- Leads and prioritizes the daily activities of the team
- Manages, mentors, and coaches to develop a collaborative and dynamic team
- Coordinates cross-functional communication to align on initiatives and strategies to drive efficiency
- Develops and implements HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives
- Provides strategic input and recommendations on HR matters, including workforce planning, employee retention, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and organizational development
- Oversees day-to-day HR operations, including managing employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring HR data accuracy and integrity, and managing employee records
- Develops and implements HR processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Manages employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Ensures compliance with all applicable HR laws, regulations, and company policies and provide guidance to management and employees
- Leads HR-related change management initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and organizational redesign.
