Qualification - Post-Graduation in Human Resources

Summary -

The primary responsibility of the Senior Human Resources Business Partner is to provide Human Resources Administration and Development solutions aligned with portfolio and operating company strategies and objectives.

Essential Functions -

- Effectively manage the portfolio's risk and employee relations across all global locations as well as ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws including the preparation and submission of the EEO-1 and maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to all labor regulations

- Evaluate reports, decision and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals. Recommend new approaches, policies and procedure to effect continual improvements in efficiency and quality of department and services provided

- Demonstrate an expertise and keep informed of trends, legislative changes and best practices in HR in all countries where portfolio has employees

- Implement and annually update the compensation program; rewrite job descriptions as necessary, analyze compensation; monitor the performance evaluation program and revise as needed

- Conduct new employee orientations, monitor career-path and succession planning programs and manages off-boarding

- Collaborate and partner with Payroll to ensure all employees are paid on time and accurately

- Communicate, troubleshoot and provide customer service to employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, training & development and other HR programs

- Communicate all new hires, transfers, promotions, birthdays, anniversaries, Office Closures/Do You Know; maintain and publish organizational charts

- Lead the creation, implementation, execution and measurement of the organization's Leadership Development and Global Employee Engagement & Going the Distance wellness programs

- Conduct skip level meetings with all global employees to identify skills gaps, engagement, and bench strength

- Manage content, data and UI on company Intranet

- Coach, mentor, train and manage Assistant Manager, Recruiting

- Maintain key relationships within portfolio

- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned

Competencies and Key Skills -

- Demonstrated ability to build and cultivate relationships through face to face, telephone, online calls and e-mail interactions

- Ability and knowledge to monitor and report on the trends, legislative changes and best practices in the HR discipline in the United States and India required

- Demonstrated experience with planning & strategy development as well as HR analytics skills

- Results oriented with proven and documented history of success

- Intermediate to expert proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint)

- Must be self-motivated and goals driven and demonstrate ability to work alone or as part of a team

- Must demonstrate proficiency with US compliance regulations, including but not limited to, ADA/ADAAA, FLSA, FMLA and IRCA

- Must have prior experience in managing both local and remote direct reports

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience providing HR support to US based employees

- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Human Resources
