SENIOR MANAGER HUMAN CAPITAL
Scope :
- Implement & maintain company HR strategy & policy in all divisions and departments & ensure they are aligned with the long term business strategies of the divisions.
- Manage all HR related functions (manpower planning, budgeting, recruitment, administration, medical, performance management etc.) & ensure that HR meet relevant BU needs in line with the annual business plan & company strategy
Responsibilities :
- Function in an active, influential business advisory role to senior managers & act as team partner/leader in strategic & other projects in order to drive business results and ensure compliance with HR strategy, policy & procedures
- Undertake to review & adapt the organization structure on at least a yearly basis, & to plan & control the yearly manpower budget for all divisions and departments in compliance with HR strategy, policy & procedures to ensure alignment with business needs
- Manage the implementation of HR strategy, policy & procedures and, where necessary, develop additional policies at BU level, ensuring they are in compliance. Liaise with departmental heads to gain an understanding of HR developmental aspects/needs to ensure they are fully informed of HR objectives, purpose & achievements as implemented
- Monitor & manage the recruitment process for all grades (selection, interviews, contract negotiation, on-boarding) & implement a talent retention development plan for potential resources in order to ensure Manpower requirements (head counts as well as experience) are met in accordance with business needs
- Oversee the yearly performance management cycle, training department heads as necessary, to ensure objectives are aligned with business strategy
- Counsel employees & departmental heads in all aspects of interpersonal issues related to different ethical, religious & educational backgrounds, in order to ensure harmony & successful relationship management within the work environment
- Monitor, measure & report on HR issues, opportunities, achievements to senior management in order to ensure relevant information is available for decision making at strategic levels.
- Manage & develop direct reporting staff to ensure that all administrative HR issues (medical, salary related issues, transfers, disciplinary actions, grievances etc.) are handled correctly & efficiently by the team in compliance with HR strategy, policy & procedures.
- Develop and improve organizational structure
Dimensions :
- Total Headcount : approx 1500
Communication and Working Relationships :
- Daily contact with Chief Operating Officer to gain approval for SOP, salary Increments, promotions, training etc., meetings on projects and strategic issues
- Daily contact with COO, Heads of Departments and staff to resolve HR related issues, gain approval, discuss improvements etc.
Skills and Knowledge :
- Bachelors Degree
- MBA or similar qualification in HR Management preferred
Experience :
- 15+ years previous professional experience in HR with a minimum of 3 years at senior management level and prior experience in a multinational company. Saudi Arabia work experience an advantage.
