The role reports to Head of HR for India & APAC
Sr. Manager-Talent Programs role plays a crucial role in managing various HR programs and initiatives within the organisation
This role involves a combination of strategic planning, project management, and basic understanding of HR. The individual will play a critical role in driving HR projects, together with fostering a positive workplace culture. Reporting to the Head of HR - India, APAC, this high visibility role will work closely with the other senior HR team across India
This is a role that requires a combination of focus and flexibility while playing an active, behind-the-scenes role with key stakeholders. The role requires a highly resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, integrity, and a willingness to put the company's interest above all else. The individual will need to collaborate with others on the HR/business team while taking program Management accountability of certain HR initiatives/ programs and being responsible to measure, monitor and drive business results.
What you'll do :
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with India HR Leadership to monitor and manage HR programs and strategies that support the organization's objective along with identifying HR program priorities and monitoring implementation to plan.
- Accountability of HR programs/projects of high importance requiring work with different HR verticals and business functions and ensuring that programs are aligned with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
- Project Management: Oversee the execution of HR projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget and create project plans and monitor progress
- Collect and analyze HR data to measure the effectiveness of programs and initiatives and use data insights to make informed decisions and recommend improvements
- Identify, manage, resolve and/or escalate issues/risks at the program level
- Provide sound inputs to key strategic programs and drive operational efficiencies
- Demonstrate leadership qualities in a fast-paced environment while being adaptable and flexible
Person Profile :
- The individual must have a minimum of 13 years of experience with strong mix of strategy and operations, consulting or program management
- The candidate must have exceptional communication skills and a very strong ability to manage a variety of stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of current trends, innovations and best practices in Human Resources
- Ability to "get things done"; drive outcomes for key initiatives.
- Strong business acumen and exceptional analytical skills; the ability to see patterns and derive insights; and a structured and logical approach to decision making
- Ability to own and drive initiatives working with senior leadership
- Ability to work through complex and evolving environments under minimal supervision
- Should be strong willed, a fast learner and able to effect changes fast
- Hands-on with MS Office suite of tools
- Prefer an MBA degree/equivalent and good exposure to Program Management. Exposure to HR will be an added advantage
- Proven ability to work effectively with multiple/diverse teams, both internally and externally
- Demonstrated analytical, creative thinking and negotiation skills.
- Highest level of integrity and ability to keep information confidential.
