Responsibilities

1. Business Analysis and Business Partnership:

- Partner with business and technology partners to elicit, analyse, translate, and document business requirements into technical requirements

- Work with executive and senior leaders to create and maintain an operating plan to achieve the strategic vision and operating platform that defines the people, processes, tools, and technology

- Analyse, document and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications

- Partner with business partners to conduct user acceptance testing

- Document user manuals to describe application installation and operating procedures

2. Project Management:

- Define and create project plans for project

- Evaluate trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value

- Coordinate the project resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget

- Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria

- Build, lead, and coach multiple project teams throughout project lifecycles

- Facilitate all operational checkpoint activities throughout the lifecycle of projects

- Assess and resolve all high priority project risks as they are encountered

- Ensure all projects adhere to project methodology compliance standards set by the company

- Continually update relevant business stake holder of project status

- Ensure all projects meet success parameters and ROI targets stated in business case

3. Team Management:

- Manage a team of Technical analysts and experts from within IT & Service Partners, guiding them on solutioning, architecture, modelling techniques, approaches & methodologies to ensure successful delivery

- Goal Setting of Direct Reports, Managing Development of Direct Reports and Coaching/Mentoring of Direct Reports.

- Ensuring the proper Rewards and Recognition of Direct and Indirect Reports along with Career Planning for them.

4. Vendor Management:

- Based on engagement, conduct meetings with vendor for technology evaluation, Cost Negotiations, assess vendor capability & Project Progress Reviews.

- Conduct vendor evaluation/on-boarding for new projects

- Define, Monitor and control SLAs with vendor

- Manage on-site staff of vendor

5. IT Applications Management:

- Ensure high availability, DR, IT security & Standards for all critical applications

- Ensure User Issues/Complaints/Bugs are addressed in timely manner

- Identify areas of improvement in existing applications/need for new applications

- Review current technology, Plan release/upgrade cycles and ensure on-time quality deployments

- Collaborate with Information Security team to deliver solutions adhering to security standards

Requirements:

1. The candidate should be working in the corporate IT function leading all HR IT initiatives

2. Should have good understanding of all HR business processes

3. Should have good knowledge of SAP HCM module, payroll systems and any enterprise HRMS like Workday, Darwinbox, Workline, SAP Success factors, Oracle HCM, etc

4. Ideal candidate would be B.Tech + MBA from premier B school with 6-7 years of work experience.
