The opening is in one of the largest conglomerates in the MENA region to identify a HR Manager for them. The entity has interests in hospitality, retail and the development of mixed-use communities and is present in 10+ countries across the region. For the past two decades the company has adopted a focused strategy which has grown it into a diversified and synergistic business, both in terms of geographic and product/service offering. The current job entails:
- Provide functional lead and expertise to the business on the company's HR strategies, policies, processes and procedures
- Translate business objectives into a set of strategic people priorities, which fully align with organization's People Strategy and can be shown to contribute to business growth, profitability and employee engagement
- Partner with Corporate P&OD function in developing more effective business solutions aligned with and supporting the business agenda
- Contribute to business strategy by supporting leadership to identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities
- Implement the BU people strategy that supports the business strategy, overseeing the following operations-
- Workforce planning
- Recruitment / on-boarding & off-boarding
- Performance reviews
- Collaborate with L&D to identify skill gaps within respective BU
- Ad hoc initiatives to address employee engagement and delivering on the EVP
- Provide expert functional advice and targeted coaching to leadership team to create a true - talent culture
