Senior Manager/Head - Sourcing - Corporate Office

1. To understand the new product specification (NPD) accordingly identification of suitable vendor

2. Closely working with new or existing vendors for production trail of NPD

3. Vendor capabilities mapping & Feasibility Study

4. To create alternative sets of vendors for critical Items

5. Expected to formulate global sourcing strategies & Cost finalization

6. Closely working with Design & Development team for finalization of yearly development plan.

7. Vendor Assessment, Vendor Selection and Vendor Management, Vendor Development and Vendor Evaluation & Capable of developing Vendors independently.

8. Evaluates the vendor w.r.t. technology, manufacturing systems, Quality systems, management capabilities, design expertise, tooling capabilities, current performance . Preparing procurement related technical and commercial terms and conditions & good in Document control.

9. Develop negotiation strategy related to Purchases and lead negotiation to arrive at business agreements with vendors.

10. Monitor adherence to procurement budget, identify cases of deviation take necessary action to correct such deviations

11. Reviewing Vendor performance and taking corrective actions to ensure timeliness and Quality of supplies

12. Ensure regular follow up with the suppliers ,Monitor & Improve supplier performance & Develop new alternative sources of supply

13. Cost estimation, Price comparison and negotiation, Strategic development & implementation of sourcing strategies/ cost reduction efforts.

14. Coordination with Quality/Production department and part clearance

15. Compliance of IMS requirements

16. Inventory management, Responsible for replenish the Stores for Indirect Purchase items, Monitoring Level of Inventory by ABC analysis / FSN analysis

17. Support for new initiatives and trial activities
