Senior Manager - Global Finance Operations - Accounts Payable - CA/CPA/CWA

The Sr. Manager - Global Finance Operations, Accounts Payable is responsible for the all Finance Operations Payable processes in Hyderabad and Bangalore, India and will report to Director GFO India Operations. The candidate will be a strong communicator and will be responsible for coordinating and representing the interests of the Finance Operations payable group within in areas of Invoicing, Remittance Application, Collections and Disputes

The responsibility of this role will be global. This individual will be a very strong leader who is adept at driving change within a very dynamic business environment and has a proven record of delivering process efficiency results.

Job duties include :

Management responsibilities :

- Performs autonomously, initiates and manages complex, departmental and/or cross- company work.

- Managing group workload and establishing priorities

- Is expected to set and improve policies and procedures, maintaining full compliance, implementing best practices.

- Focus is broad, will serve as a consultant or lead on projects and areas of finance or support of a business.

- This position will also act as an escalation point in resolving complex outstanding issues with internal and external business partners.

Business Responsibilities :

- Drive development and expansion of systems and processes required to execute on-time payments to Vendors

- Build and monitor performance metrics, with principal focus on ensuring on-time payments, cost out initiatives and estimating future headcount growth by country

- Drive the expansion of self-service functionality in order to improve vendor experience and reduce manual processes

- Maintain weekly and monthly communications and metrics reporting with Director and VP level business partners in Digital business and finance teams.

- Developing, modifying and maintaining the operational and design effectiveness of internal controls

Partnering with Internal Audit :

- Lead cross functional systems and process improvement initiatives

- Lead a team of 5+ Operational managers across payable process

Basic Qualifications :

- CA, CPA or CWA, with 12+ or more years of relevant Finance and/or Operational experience

- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills and is able to positively influence behaviors and outcomes.

- Exceptional attention to detail and a work ethic based upon a strong desire to exceed expectations

- Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate business processes from several angles, including from the perspective of a business process leaders, customers, and supporting internal stakeholders

- Experience with complex problem solving using Lean / Six Sigma techniques desired

- Independent and Entrepreneurial showing the ability to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

- Proven project management ability that shows how to organize, find solutions, and follow through to a successful conclusion

- Advanced presentation skills and the ability to guide and influence senior leadership
