Senior Manager - Forex Risk Analyst/Consultant

Position: Senior Manager-Forex Risk Analyst/Consulting

Location: Mumbai, managing South India business

Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years

Job Summary:

- Deliver high-quality advisory services on FX markets to clients.

- Analyze business and risk profiles of corporate clients.

- Articulate strategies for managing FX risk.

- Client-facing role with interaction with treasury teams, CFO, and stakeholders.

Selling services involves:

- In-depth understanding of market risk.

- Consideration of implications on business cash flows and profitability.

- High-intensity communication and follow-up.

- Cross-selling of services including Advisory Support, Risk Management Policy formulation, Online MIS service, etc.

Regional development involves:

- Work closely with Bangalore and Chennai branches.

- Expand South India by acquiring new clients.

- Upgrade existing relations by delivering higher-end services.

- Frequent travel to the region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Track financial markets, primarily FX, and develop currency views and strategies.

- Translate views into actionable hedging/trading strategies for USDINR and major currencies.

- Drive and close sales of the services from self-generated leads.

- Regularly call clients to build relationships and become their extended market risk support partner.

- End-to-end responsibility for clients, including invoicing, renewal of accounts, and enhancing service delivery quality.

- Participate in and provide inputs for internal training sessions.

Skills and Qualifications:

- MBA in Finance/CFA/FRM.

- 5 to 7 years of experience.

- Strong relationship-building skills.

- Practical domain expertise in currency markets and financial products.

- Thorough knowledge of fundamental and technical analysis.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google spreadsheets.

- Strong communication (written/oral) skills.

- Enthusiastic about working with internal teams.
