Role Overview :

- We have a challenging opportunity for the role of Senior Manager in our Financial Services practice. The person will focus on Middle-Eastern clients, work in a client facing role and take on the responsibility of providing a single point end to end accountability for the project oversight, reporting to project management team, establish working relationship with the internal and external stakeholders.

- Senior Managers deliver some of the most significant and leading financial control and finance transformations engagements globally and in local markets.

- Senior Managers are expected to establish good relationships with client personnel by understanding client's perspective and become the go-to-person on the account. Their work output is expected to be of outstanding quality. They constantly monitor project progress, manage risk and verify key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Execution :

- Lead projects on Financial Control, Financial Statement Preparations and Review, Chart of Accounts, Finance Transformation and other related areas

- Managing the engagement (staff, time, client) to achieve high-quality deliverables, on time

- Delivering concise deliverables that are tailored to the client's business, and requirements, in a timely fashion.

- Review of working papers & client folders. Suggesting ideas on improving engagement productivity and identify opportunities for improving client service.

- Identifying areas requiring improvement in the client's business processes to enable preparation of recommendations.

- On Ground communication with clients (senior staff - CXOs & heads of business units), analyzing the facts, establishing hypotheses, & deriving conclusions.

Business Development :

- Understanding the client's requirements and writing clear client proposals that articulate the specialized domain skills.

- Creating new business opportunities by presenting specific value propositions to clients, or preparing collateral packs

- Actively establish & strengthen client (functional heads & key influencers) and internal relationships from a business development standpoint.

- Identifying & escalating potential business opportunities for the firm on existing client engagements.


Coaching and Mentoring:

- Coaching and mentoring team members providing technical direction and guidance. Create a positive learning culture, coaches, counsels and develops junior team members.

- Providing real-time constructive verbal feedback to team members and facilitate timely completion of engagement review forms.

- Supporting knowledge sharing efforts and continually improves processes so that the work team can capture and leverage knowledge

Desired Profile :

Candidates should have 8+ years professional experience with below:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant

- Significant experience of working on Chart of accounts, financial statement preparation and review, GL, Finance transformation in a financial services organization or consulting firm

- Proficiency in MS Office

Key Personal Attributes :

- A good blend of creative thinking and rigorous analysis in solving business problems

- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills

- Must work well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently. Work with team members to set goals and responsibilities for specific engagements. Foster teamwork and innovation.

- Ability to work under pressure. Mature, proactive and displays initiative. Manages own and others time well.

- Good oral and written communication skills including documentation of findings and recommendations. Adept at preparing and presenting reports to an audience.

Location : India (Mumbai, NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai) but significant travel (up to 90% of time) to client locations in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and other countries in Middle-East will be required
