Senior Manager - Financial Consolidation & Tax Reporting - FMCG

Lead the monthly and quarterly Company Asia financial consolidation and supporting financial schedules reporting process to ensure they meet Company US GAAP accounting policies. Supporting financial schedules includes SEC and FASB SFAS reporting requirements.

Lead process improvements to standardize financial reporting processes in SAP and HFM (Hyperion Financial Management), internal controls and systems across all reporting entities in Asia to ensure that financial reporting for US GAAP, local statutory and tax reporting purposes are effective and efficient

Lead the development and implementation of key financial policies and procedures. This includes communicating these policies and ensuring a good review and monitoring process is in place to ensure compliance.

Utilize subject matter knowledge in accounting standards to review and analyze significant financial transactions to ensure the appropriate financial accounting treatment is adopted. Collaborate this review with the Company Accounting Policy Group in White Plains, NY where necessary to prepare US GAAP technical memos to support the recommended accounting treatment.

Provide subject matter advisory support to country controllers with their local statutory audits

Provide leadership and broad direction to ensure Company Asia's accounting records are maintained in accordance with Company policies and external requirements.

Provide training and coaching to the broader Company Asia finance team to improve their base knowledge in US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.

Support tax return filings and quarterly tax reporting / analysis/ forecasts for Asia, and any ad-hoc tax projects.

Work closely with our business unit and functional teams to ensure that stakeholder reporting requirements are met.

Support Asia projects and initiatives as and when required.

Desire skillset:

Certified public accounting certification / professional accounting qualification with 8 years or more of relevant financial consolidations and tax reporting experience.

SAP proficiency and working experience is required.

Team player with good communication and entrepreneurial skills with the ability to liaise with team members at all levels and across different cultures.

Note: Needs to travel as & when require to Singapore office.
