Senior Manager - Financial Analysis & Reporting - WFH

Job Summary:

The company is a leading Plastic Action Platform, bringing together brands, consumers, innovators, and policymakers to collectively combat the plastic waste crisis. Through innovative solutions across the circular economy value chain, they have helped numerous companies measure, reduce, and take action on their plastic footprints while driving global systems change. Founded in 2015 and incorporated in 2017, the Company is headquartered in New York and now operate across 3 business entities in the USA, UK, and India, with a team of 60+ full-time members working globally from Asia, Europe, the US, and Africa. They have successfully implemented 13 operational Impact Projects spanning across 5 countries and 3 continents and their certified products are retailed in over 100 countries worldwide.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting: Own and manage the financial reporting process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of reports to Founders, Investors, and management. Prepare comprehensive reports with key insights, including budgets vs actuals comparisons and areas for improvement.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, driving efficient spend management while building robust controls and KPI tracking mechanisms. Forecast the company's performance for the foreseeable future.

3. Data Analysis and Financial Modeling: Utilize strong analytical skills to analyze financial data and construct robust models. Extract insights and communicate key findings to contribute to decision-making processes.

4. Collaborative Partnership: Build strong relationships with individuals across the organization, understanding their functions and requirements for effective reporting. Collaborate closely with the Director of Finance & Operations to align objectives and optimize operational efficiency.

5. Reporting Analysis and Improvement: Conduct a thorough analysis of reporting strengths and weaknesses. Provide recommendations for improving processes, data accuracy, and efficiency.

6. Process Standardization, Optimization & Automation: Drive efforts to standardize, streamline, and automate financial processes. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and resource utilization.

7.Treasury Management: Ensure effective cash and liquidity management, constantly seeking ways to enhance our capital position while ensuring capital is being effectively utilized.

Requirements:

1. 6-8 years of work experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or similar roles.

2. Experience in Series A-C companies and hands-on experience in fundraising and scaling processes preferred.

3. Qualifications such as CA / CFA or an MBA are desirable.

4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business problems and break them down into achievable deliverables.

5. Ability to work cross-functionally, align teams, and drive projects with limited oversight.

6. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Passion for environmental sustainability and socio-economic impact.

Location:

We are actively seeking candidates located in Bangalore, India. While the role is Work From Home, Co-working seats will be provided if you prefer to work from a physical office space.
