Senior Manager - Finance Transformation

Finance transformation: Ideal profile of the candidate:

- Person who has prior experience in finance transformation work and who can lead transformation.

- This person to lead the transformation work with support from finance teams.

- This person needs to work on transformation of process, system, creating databases, automate reporting and work on visualization dashboard, etc.

- Someone who has worked on system implementation/migration from one platform to another earlier.

- Who can act as finance business analyst understanding requirements, partnering with technology, manage all the production releases (including enhancements, version upgrade, managing data quality, who can create BRD as required).

- This person to represent finance in transformation discussions, technology approval meetings and could collaborate with IT, Digital and quality teams.

- Lead various RPA and VBA based automations.

- This person needs to interact with Canada to lead SAP, ARIBA and other system enhancements.

- Preferably, this person also needs to have some kind of experience in SAP, ARIBA, GST portals, Vendor portal, etc. Also, familiar with tableau, power automate, or any other visualization tools.

- Candidates from Third Party Organizations who have drafted proposal documents and pitch right level of technology solution to clients.

- Candidates from Banking industry who have worked on Technology & Operations Finance teams.

- Provide ideas, solutions, and tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Finance function.

Alongside the technology transformation agenda, the individual should be able to support the with some of the responsibilities within FP&A outlined below:

Other Key Accountabilities:

A) Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

- Well versed with preparation of Annual Budgets, Monthly & Quarterly Rolling Forecasts, Scenario and Simulations.

- Management Reports - Lead reporting of financial results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis by managing complex financials and regularly interacting with other departments/entities/geographies.

- Prepare presentations and ad-hoc analysis for Leadership/ Management Team

- Comfortable in managing and analyzing large volume of data; In-depth Variance Analysis with Commentary

- Capital Expenditure forecasting and budget utilization.

- Business case preparation

- Assistance in benefits tracking for the Company.

- Work with business teams on initiatives related to Process efficiencies, Cost-Benefit Analysis etc.

- Manage adhoc financial data analysis, queries, reconciliations and reports as required by Stakeholders.

- Ensures stakeholders receives high quality support on finance matters in timely manner.

B) Accounting Responsibilities:

- Checks and balances over processes involving financials reporting.

- Participate in Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, etc.

C) Competencies and Capabilities:

- Connects the big picture, understands the business, and manages complexity across deliverables.

- Operates well in ambiguity and is resilient in changing situations.

- Adapts style to be effective in different situations.

- Works effectively together through engagement and influencing others and collaborates effectively.

D) Continuous Improvement:

- Provide ideas, solutions, and tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of FP&A function.

- Drive improvement projects for Finance, monitor and deliver on agreed service level metrics.

- Automation to bring process efficiencies.

E) Business Partnering:

- Prior experience on working across different geographies on financial analytics matters

- Raise level of financial awareness across the organization

- Act as the 'Finance business partner' for leadership/Stakeholders/Business partners etc.

Desirable Skills:

- Numbers savvy and eye for details; Challenge Status-quo

- A doer, self-driven and highly motivated

- Excellent MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint must) skills, VBA skills would be an added advantage.

- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Good communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Proactive and resilient. Flexibility in learning new topics, handling change and deadlines.

- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations. Flexible for extended hour working, as per business needs.

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

- CA/ MBA / B.Tech

- 13-15 years of relevant post-qualification experience

- Strong technical knowledge of financial accounting and financial reporting

- Experience with SAP - S/4 HANNA

- Experience with Tableau / Power BI will be an advantage.

- Thorough knowledge of Finance & Accounting processes

- Ability to prioritize tasks and determine what is important and where value can be best added.

- Ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, and may interface regularly with members of leadership and management team.

- Learning ability, strong analytic and diagnostic skills dealing with opportunities and issues.

- Ability to deal with ambiguity and share perspective on areas beyond immediate scope of work.

- This is an individual contributor role so requires complete ownership and responsibility of the assigned work.
