MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To ensure highest professional standards in all aspects of Accounts Management in accordance with the Company's business objectives, it's philosophy, accounting policies and values.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

A] ACCOUNTING

1. To be responsible for all activities related to the following areas:

a. Accounts Payable

b. Treasury

c. Inventory & COGS

d. GL accounting

2. To ensure monthly completion of FSCP process and also perform analytical reports for the management

3. To take responsibility related his responsible areas for all audits

4. To implement all Company accounting policies and procedures.

5. To assist Head of Finance for any process improvement or optimization in the department including systems

6. To co-ordinate and provide financial management, and controllership inputs and assist in the setup and maintenance of accounting and control requirements for businesses.

7. To address all the queries from the department or team in regards to accounting policies or rules for transactions and to find optimized solutions.

8. To work and prepare reports required by the Head of Finance for any report or audit or any other purpose.

9. To assist the Head of Finance in implementing accounting financial and Business controls and any such changes required for the business

B] DIRECT & INDIRECT TAX

1. To support Tax Lead in terms of all detail required for any tax compliance/ tax assessment or audits

2. To ensure proper tax compliance in recording transaction after discussion with the tax lead

C] OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To maintain cordial relationship with outside agencies including banks, auditors, tax consultants, tax authorities and other statutory bodies.

2. To maintain harmonious relationship with other department colleagues.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. A formal accounting qualification, including full membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or of a similarly appropriate professional body.

2. 5-8 years post-qualification experience in an MNC, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

3. Well-versed with Indian GAAP, IND AS & IFRS

4. Knowledge of taxation principles and legislation.

3. Good logical and functional knowledge of the IT systems and also proficient on Microsoft applications
