Senior Manager - Finance - IT/Telecom - CA

- Statutory and Internal Audit + Standardizing accounting and control processes

- Responsible for ensuring clean Statutory and Internal audit (no critical observations) with minimum deviations across all processes, ensuring control of Trial Balance, GL controls, GL reconciliation.

- Ensuring appropriate IND-AS application in accounting, working closely on Business cases (Large deals) from accounting aspect and giving the accounting view for P&L wherever required.

Working Capital management

- Funds arrangement ensuring adequate limits with Banks thru continuous engagement with various and multiple Banks at lowest rates, ensuring closure in time bound manner with Banks.

- RBI and FEMA Compliance Interacting with Banks and ADs and Treasury team, ensuring compliance to laws.

- Ensuring adequate and proper documentation with Banks, timely submission of data for Borrowing engagements.

- Tying up with OEMs wherever required basis business models.

- Financing and Borrowing costs continuous negotiation and gauging the markets to ensure Cost of Funds is lowest/optimal.

- Automation and Standardisation of processes Process excellence

- SAP Development of key modules, etc.

- Matching of costs incurred with revenue booking and accounting.

- System controls Implementation of system controls to ensure tight monitoring and adherence to processes.

- Automation Automating revenue booking thru system to the extent possible.

- Ensuring strong collaboration and interlock with Functional teams to ensure all of above.

- Accounting and Provisioning for Costs (in collaboration with other Finance team members)

- Provisioning and analysis of cost elements Manpower costs and various other cost elements.

- Ensuring and setting up processes on accounting controls and provisions.

- Establishing and maintaining controls and processes for monthly review of cost accruals.

Contract management

- Reviewing and getting reviewed the customer and vendor contracts before final execution alongside legal team.

Vendor management

- Continuous engagement and interlock with SCM and Delivery function to build robust Vendor management system.

- Account payable reconciliation and controls.

Tax Direct and Indirect

- Key input provider for Large deals and Business cases coordinating with Tax and Treasury functions.

- Coordinating with Corporate Tax teams to ensure timely refunds of IT paid and assessments are closed on time.

- Monthly reconciliation on GST Input credit and related controls with Vendors, ensuring there are no leakages on account of GST.

TDS reconciliation

Management of Business requirements

- New geography expansion/Senegal Entity formation and business commencement, profitability management, controls and continuous analysis/audit of consortium including end to end coordination with Tax and Treasury.

- Supplier concerns on GST, IR issues, etc Working closely with Vendor management and Tax and IR teams in to ensure quick turnaround and closures of such concerns.

- High value business cases with multi-year deals, partnering with business and delivery to ensure maximum efficiency, strong bridge between and Tax and treasury teams.

- Strong bridge between business operations and legal on contracting, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are well defined financially and within the profitability matrix.
