Qualification / ICWAI with 5-7 years of post qualification experience in medium sized organisation

Accounting, Taxation, Banking, Analytical and Presentation skills

Behavioral Positive attitude, Good Communication Skills

Experience: 5-7 years in accounts department of a reputed organisation.

To take overall responsibility for Campus covering:

Book keeping and preparation of financial statements and analysis.

Internal and statutory audit.

Cash and bank transactions, Foreign exchange payments and statutory payments

Statutory compliance relating to Direct and Indirect taxation

Internal controls, cost controls

Budgets, Budgetary controls and MIS

PGP student Account management

Job Description:

1.Day today bank and cash receipt and payments, foreign currency payments, statutory payments, preparation of data for submission to bank for renewal of overdraft limits, CA certification for FX payments, CA certification for term loan utilisation, keeping track of exchange rates, submission of forms for foreign currency payments, utilisation certificates for contribution in foreign currency, bank balance reconciliation etc.

2.Maintenance of accounts for institutes, grants, contributions, ensuring compliance with grant terms, providing monthly updates to institutes on grants & their utilisation etc.

3.Monthly departmental budget vs. actual statement, co-ordination with departments and providing the details / clarifications on budgets.

4.Monthly and yearly closing entries, preparation of draft monthly accounts, review of general ledger, preparation of schedules for quarterly accounts.

5.First point of contact for statutory and internal auditors, co-ordinating with statutory and internal auditors.

6.Complying with statutory matters relating to TDS, Service Tax, WCT, profession tax etc. and filing of returns as per prescribed frequencies.

7.Ensuring compliance with financial policies of the school and ensuring internal controls are in place.

8.Reviewing the costs relating to activities of Campus and ensure cost controls.
