POSITION - Senior Manager - Finance

Reporting : Director

Reportee : Associate

LOCATION :- Mohali

CTC : 9 - 12 Lacs (Fixed & Non-Negotiable) plus other benefits. ( depending upon current package, experience, education, interview status )

Job Purpose

To develop a comprehensive management information system covering all spheres of the School. Work with the Director Finance to create, streamline and implement internal control processes of the school which have a financial bearing. To review, monitor and report on all the financial and operational controls at the School.

Job Outline

1. Design a Monitoring and Information System (MIS) for the school as well as for various departments of school. For example, Commercials Department, Finance Department, Centre for Executive Education, Academic Programmes, Faculty, Research, Institute, Centres etc.

2. Review the overall policies, processes and systems of the school to find any gaps and suggest improvements

3. Assist the various Business Units and departments in understanding the implications of financial data as it affects them, and to further disaggregate the information for increased efficiency and effectiveness

4. With the help of thorough analysis, participate in setting the strategic direction for the school

5. Contribute to benchmarking processes with best practices to enhance overall efficiency of the school

6. Review proposals. E.g. Capex/Project Proposals and assess their financial viability

7. Review department budget templates, suggest improvements

8. Review department budgets proposals by the various departments

9. Report the quarterly analysis of the budget

10. Report on compliances relating to the internal audit observations

Job Specification

Knowledge / Education/Desirable Experience:

MBA in Finance / Information Systems from a reputed Institution. Full Time CA qualification is pre requisite for this role. 4-9 yrs
