Company: A leading consumer durable US based MNC  Qualification: CA  Experience: 7-12 years  Reporting to: Finance Director   Location: Noida  Job Summary:  The Sr. Manager Accouting & Controling is responsible for entire accounting and reporting, both for US GAAP & Indian GAAP, Statutory & Internal Audit, Revenue & Cost Audit, Functional coordination of Operation Finance activities, compliances and business support.   Roles & Responsibilities:   Fully responsible for financial reliability and accuracy. Prepares the Financial Reporting Packages and Financial KPIs and perform analysis for Region/Group controlling. Defines corrective actions plans. Ensures consistent, timely and accurate Reporting.   Full ownership and accountability on accounting & admin aspects in the Operation: independent behaviour, fully apply the Group / Corporate / Dover compliance rules & guidelines, capable to detect and to report in real time any compliance issue, able to organize/implement permanent controls and to reinforce the compliance culture and to implement a robust accounting compliance environment within the Operation.  Complete hands on with SAP environment, ensuring all end users are fully accountable for their respective profiles / responsibilities and timely submissions of various reports.  Supports and works closely with the FP&A team, Region and Group Finance, Legal and Business Process /Compliance functions.  Management of the Controlling Team (appraisals, training plans, coaching) and Resource Planning. + Continual improvement and training of staff.  Responsible for reviewing for reasonableness, accuracy of financial calculations for expenditure requests according to the Delegation of Authority Matrix.  Support in providing complex financial analysis involving the business model / complex business cases and performance of key segments of the business, including adhoc MIS & Analysis as required by the local management, Regional Office & HQ  Working closely with other departments, update financial processes, systems and financial operations to meet India's changing business, growth and initiative requirements.  Support all transversal project within the Operation (e.g. reorganization, restructuring, integration, acquisition etc). Coordinates financial activities for the Operation  Responsible for Supply Chain accounting, compliance reporting and monthly closing, Inventory valuation and reporting, capex management, variance analysis etc.. Cost accountant to work closely with this position.  Complete Responsibility of AR, AP & GL,, Fixed Assets. (KPIs to include DSO, PD, DPO etc.)  Provide support in completing and providing various informations / data for tax matters, assessments and submissions to various authorities.  Shall be responsible for various customization, enhancement, development needed in SAP for meeting local statutory needs.   Key Skills:   Communication Very good English skills required. Person needs to have strong communication skills as he has to interact with Region and Group Finance Teams,local FP&A and Management Teams, as well as with external consultants and audit teams.  Knowledge and expertise 9-12 years of related accounting experience (US GAAP, SOX, IFRS, SEC reporting); with solid SAP background. Ability to multi-task, make quick and confident decision and solve complex issues in a timely manner. Audit background to deal efficiently with any compliance aspect. Good People management Skills required.  Innovation The person needs to be able to handle several projects at the same time. Implementation or Rules and Procedures, Follow up and Control is important. High grade of discipline required. The person needs to be able to proactively manage and interact with a wide range of personnel (internal and external)..  Freedom to act / accountabilities This position has to work in a very controlled/regulated environment. New processes/ideas need to be synchronized with Region/Group. Ability to be proactive and reactive to issues in a constructive manner.  Risk Willingness to work long hours and to work on weekends or bank holiday if required. Ready to travel (for trainings, cross country meetings).  Qualifications and Experience:  Qualified C.A. with good academic background and strong accounting experience for 9-12 years, preferably in SAP environment and have worked in MNC. Additional degree will be an advantage. Should have handled team size of 4-5, both qualified accountants and semi-qualified.
