Our client is a Financial Services firm with their headquarters in US and operations in all major markets including New York, London, Singapore & India. With the organization focusing on building operations in India, they are looking for a strong Finance professional to join their newly setup Share Services in Gurgaon.

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Finance Shared Services, your key responsibilities will include:

- Handling all aspects of accounting for various operating and trading entities

- Preparing annual financial statements and work with external auditors

- Preparing month-end close, including calculation of NAV

- Liaising with internal Infrastructure team on P&L and fee reconciliation

- Assisting in many ad hoc and special projects

- Working closely with internal Operations, Legal, Compliance, and trading teams

- Managing stake holders (traders, middle office, global accounting and other teams)

- Overseeing valuations for multiple entities, review and manage process exceptions and risks

Profile

- Chartered Accountant with 9+ years of accounting experience (including finalization of accounts) with investment banks/financial/large stock broking firms

- Strong domain knowledge in financial products, stocks and money market

- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel

- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organization skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
