We are looking for Sr. Manager - Finance Analyst for a Fortune 500 Manufacturing company based in Mumbai

Primary Responsibilities and Activities
1 Partnering with business in Commercial and Operational decision making process.
2 Support Operations, Sales/Commercial and Service teams with financial inputs for Costing, tendering/quoting process. Evaluate Capital expenditure proposals and aid decision making process.
3 Uses standard costing method to drive cost improvements and benchmarking analysis.
4 Drive and participate in Working Capital improvements in line with expectations set for the year.
5 Review financial performance with the Senior Management team on a monthly/regular basis by ensuring accurate and timely reporting with primary focus on enhancing Revenues, Margins, Productivity, Expense control, Collections and Doubtful Debts, Inventory management.
6 Will partner Operations and Business/Department Heads in all business initiatives and will co-own India P&L.
7 Drive process improvements, ensure compliance and facilitate audit completion.
8 Strong/depth knowledge in understanding the construct of balance sheets, PL and statements as per Indian GAAP and USGAAP for performing analysis.
9 Review books of accounts, Balance Sheet Schedules and streamline those wherever applicable in line with company policies and prepare reports for financial review.
10 Will lead the Budgeting exercise and will be responsible for deploying the same across organization. Responsible for managing budgets and actual. Take corrective actions for ensuring spend is within the overall budget for the country. Co-ordinate and proactively engage with individual teams for expense control.
11 Strong understanding of SAP and interaction with cross functional team is a must. Develop capabilities for implementation of the new instance to suit GVR operations considering the global strategies.
Education and Training
Educational qualification for this role should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 7-8 years of relevant experience.
Experience
Experience for this role should be around 7-8 years excluding apprenticeship, of which at least 2 yrs should have been leading role in book closure and analytical role. Experience in manufacturing operations is necessary. Experience with Big 4 firms will have preference.
A strong functional background including experience working in multinational organizations with hands on experience in ERP implementation would be preferred.
More specifically, should have worked in an ERP environment (SAP) and good working understanding of SAP and how SAP supports and facilitate Business Intelligence type reporting requirements. Experience in Hyperion Financial Management would be an added advantage.
The individual should demonstrate the capacity to understand complex issues and initiatives.
