Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts - CA

Role & Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP): Supervise the AP function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, expense claims, and payments. Implement controls to optimize cash flow and manage vendor relationships effectively.

Accounts Receivable (AR): Oversee the AR function, including credit management, invoicing, collections, and reconciliation. Monitor AR aging and implement strategies to minimize overdue payments.

Banking and Fund Management: Manage banking relationships and transactions, including cash flow management, fund transfers, and investment activities. Monitor bank accounts and optimize liquidity to support business operations.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with business units to develop accurate financial projections. Analyze variances and provide insights to support decision-making.

Management Information Systems (MIS): Develop and maintain robust MIS to provide timely and accurate financial information to management. Implement dashboards and KPIs to track performance against targets.

Review of Books: Conduct regular reviews of financial books and records to ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Direct and Indirect Taxation: Review GST compliances/Returns and Income Tax/TDS compliances and returns.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and provide insights to senior management.

Requirements:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-6 years of post-qualification experience.

- Experience in the NBFC or Fintech sector is preferred.

- Hands-on experience in guiding and supervising AP, AR, banking/fund management, budgeting/forecasting, MIS, review of books, and financial reporting functions.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally and Zoho) and MS Excel.
