ABOUT THE COMPANY :

The company is a leading Indian agriculture company that specializes in producing quality hybrid seeds.

Job Description:

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to senior leadership on financial performance and trends.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Accounts Receivables (AR) Management:

- Oversee the AR function, including invoicing, billing, collections, and credit management.

- Monitor aging receivables and implement strategies to minimize bad debts and improve cash flow.

- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes and customer inquiries.

Accounts Payables (AP) Management:

- Manage the AP process, including vendor payments, invoice processing, and expense reimbursements.

- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments in compliance with vendor terms and agreements.

- Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor relationships.

Auditing and Compliance:

- Coordinate internal and external audits, including liaising with auditors, preparing audit schedules, and addressing audit findings.

- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.

Balance Sheet Preparations:

- Lead the preparation and analysis of the company's balance sheet, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.

- Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including assets, liabilities, and equity.

- Provide recommendations for improving financial performance and optimizing balance sheet efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA).

- 10-15 years of progressive experience in financial management roles, with a focus on AR, AP, auditing, and balance sheet preparations.

- Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.

- Strong focus on problem-solving and automating solutions to minimize people dependence.
