Sr. Manager - Finance & Accounts

We are scouting for "Sr. Manager - Finance & Accounts" for our leading client in Shipping Industry.

Experience - CA with 20+ years of experience.

Applicants from Shipping / Logistics / Marine Industry Preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- To handle the Accounts & Finance of the entity.

- Supervises, directs, and reviews the work of the accounting staff (including, but not limited to bank reconciliations, account statement reconciliations, check runs, accounts receivables, maintenance of fixed asset register, accounts payables, recording of revenue and expenses, accruals etc.

- Ensure completion of Statutory audit as per INDAS and as per IFRS within the agreed target date accounts and without any adverse remarks from auditors.

- Perform timely month end closing of financial statements.

- Timely & accurate reporting as per principal's requirements

- Ensure that the financial system relevant to India operations is maintained upto date in line with the agreed timelines

- Continuous reconciliation between the voyage accounting records and Line.

- Timely & accurate remittances

- Management Accounting, Budgets & Budgetary Controls

- Compliance - Direct, Indirect & International Taxation, Company Law and Other Relevant Statutes.

- Process Refinement, Risk Management & Controls.

- Treasury & Forex.

- Stakeholder Management.

Required Competencies :

- Well conversant with accounting principles & accounting standards - IFRS & INDAS.

- Candidate should strong knowledge of Direct tax, Indirect tax, international taxation & DTAA provisions etc.

- Relevant knowledge of Remittance procedure & familiar with RBI, FEMA Guidelines.

- Candidate should be smart and articulate with good communication and presentation skill.

- Abreast of regulatory, taxation, and compliance issues and ensure adherence to all banking related laws and regulations.

- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
