Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts - Manufacturing

We are currently looking for Sr.Manager - Finance and Accounts - Bangladesh

Candidates Should have at least 5 years of experience in finance and accounts function of a manufacturing facility post (CA or ICWA or MBA)

SHOULD Know to READ, WRITE and SPEAK Bengali (Its compulsory)

Job Role:

1. Corporate Finance

Ensure proper maintenance of all financial ledgers for the day-to-day operations of the unit.

Manage the banking relationship for the business and working capital management.

2. Preparation of Quarterly/Annual Financial Results of the Bangladesh Legal Entity

Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.

Review and approve journal entries;

Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial reporting;

Ensuring appropriate accruals;

Communicating with Corporate and other applicable departments within the company.

Ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations and the approval of each on a monthly basis;

Prepare quarterly account review information for senior management;

Ensure reconciling items are cleared on a timely basis

Coordinating activities like Fund Planning, Bill Passing, Sales Accounting, Factory Accounts, Debtors Accounting and Financial Budgeting

3. Taxation

Compute indirect taxes & tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other direct tax requirements.

Comply with local government reporting requirements and tax filings

4. Budgeting and MIS

Accurate Monthly MIS on factory wise SKU contribution. Is Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice

Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs

Carry out Project Evaluation, Establishing Sound Costing Systems & Procedures, Purchase Rate Fixation, Establishment of Material Variance System & Control of Wastages, Development of Internal Control System To Ensure Effective Control & Performance.

5. Compliances

Manage all local government compliances and ensure adherence to all regulations

Managing all custom duty related matters on import of raw materials

Additional Responsibility:

Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.

Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel, and direct their work activities.

Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
