Position: Senior Manager, Enterprise Platforms Responsibilities - Leads infrastructure planning, development strategies/initiatives and product lifecycle/service orientation; determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs. - Oversees portfolio/program management responsibilities. Directs financial management and risk management capabilities. - Leads stable and secure environment, incident management, product health/patching, and the asset management lifecycle. - Communicates with vendors, suppliers and executive leadership to ensure availability of infrastructure technologies and support. - Designs best practices for technology architecture and management. - Directs, motivates, develops and oversees the performance of the management team and key staff. - Knowledge of and ability to utilize a variety of technical tools and techniques to guarantee service availability and ensure IT system performance. - Creates standardized procedures for IT systems management. - Directs the infrastructure design process for IT systems. - Discusses the business impact and strategic security solutions for IT system implementation. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline required. General Experience: 5+ years I.T. experience with 1-2 years of managerial or supervisory experience. Management: Ability to lead a strong team to meet organizational objectives. Customer focused with desire to continually acquire knowledge of customer's business objectives and processes. Process Improvement: Project management, analytical and critical thinking skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs, translating them into operational requirements and solutions. Financial: Manage budget &gt; $5MM (USD). Results oriented with ability to lead complex IT assignments to completion-on time &amp; within budget. Technical: Results oriented with ability to lead complex IT assignments. Ability to perform job tasks independently, with minimal supervision. May need to handle multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously, adjusting to change and continually aligning priorities to ensure the most important efforts to the company are completed. - Extensive knowledge and minimum 4 years of experience in the management of an enterprise level management system such as Microsoft SCOM/SCCM, Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory, and networking. - Extensive knowledge and experience with computer equipment characteristics to maintain, configure, upgrade, repair and monitor enterprise servers and client computers. - Experience in the development of installation/patch packages for the implementation of enterprise systems software changes and new operating system releases. - Strong understanding of TCP/IP network architecture and implementation. - Knowledge and understanding of the associated Information Assurance principles and framework applied to ensure information assurance and security of those services. - Enterprise System administration experience on Microsoft Windows platforms. An understanding of a wide array of server grade applications is preferable, but not required. These include Active Directory, Windows DNS, IIS, Apache, SharePoint, SAN/NAS, SCCM/SCOM, Patch Management, and LDAP. - The following skills and experience are highly desired: - Virtualization - MQ Series - WebSphere - Orchestration - Automation - Workload automation - Software defined networking - Infrastructure as code - IT SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT - Extensive Experience Personal : Exceptional written, oral and presentation communication abilities in English.
