Senior Manager - Enterprise Financial Reporting

- The position would be primarily responsible for providing support for the technical management, along with adherence to compliance standards, of tools designed to consolidate regulatory data from multiple sources.

- This position will be responsible for leading the India-based team through transformation efforts as well as for the development and management of tools and reporting logic used to produce accurate regulatory reports such as the FRY-9C, all supporting schedules, FR Y-14Q, FFIEC 031/041.

Responsibilities:

- Experience with understanding and synthesizing DATA requirements

- Support the automation and streamlining of tasks related to the preparation of Regulatory Reports

- Support of Report Owner responsibilities including understanding the implementation needs resulting from report instruction changes, and partnering with support groups to improve the control

- Provide support related to the meaningful assessments of IT control environments impacted by financial, risk, and regulatory reporting

- Support compliance assessment with Company's COSO based policies for IT controls impacted by internal controls over financial reporting and strategic planning for on-going IT control compliance with COSO policies

- Assist with the monitoring of new and emerging internal controls related guidance and issues and assisting with facilitating group-wide training to interested and impacted stakeholders

- Provide consultation and subject matter expertise for process and IT control related matters including evaluating severity of control deficiencies and related remediation efforts

- Provide information and/or support to external auditors, regulators and others on control related matters

- Support the functional and technical requirements definition for technology enablement initiatives identified by Management

- Develop and implement test strategies and approaches for technology enablement solutions deployed

- Ability to perform expected results testing by building SQL-based queries would be a plus

Essential Qualifications : 

- Qualified CA/CFA/ICWA/MBA Up to 14 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics and reporting Or: Qualified CA/CFA/ICWA/MBA degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business and 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting

- 6+ years of supervisory or management experience, directly supervising staff

- Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment

- Experience with general ledgers and accounting policies

- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory reporting: Federal Reserve, OCC, and SEC

- Knowledge and understanding of corporate governance, financial reporting systems, legal entities, and role of regulatory authorities

- Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications

- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into clear and concise communications

- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

- Strong research and documentation skills

- Knowledge and understanding of capital markets: business and processes

- 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Financial Reporting, project management, IT consulting, or strategic
