Job Responsibilities:
- Investigate, analyze, and make appropriate recommendations regarding employee relations issues filed internally; exercise influence appropriately.
- Ensure all investigations in the region are completed in time and outcome/ sanctions are effectively communicated to all stakeholders within the defined timelines/ SLAs.
- Provide coaching, counsel, and direction to Managers to ensure fair employment practices and compliance with employment legislation.
- Lead and direct team to resolve complex and sensitive employment issues/queries in line with Organizational procedures, conditions of service, current employment law and established best practice.
- Develop plans and a caseload management approach to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in case management to implement action plans ensuring a proactive approach to overcome organizational Challenges.
- Responsible to lead and support initiatives and ensure Effective use of CRM tool data for trend analysis that proactively identifies probable issues/ themes, those may emerge in the immediate, intermediate or long term time horizons.
- Support ERQM team with implementation of varied projects within the ER Transformation, Governance & Continuous Process Improvement Agenda, as per APAC ER Strategy roadmap for respective region.
- Responsible to actively support the Legal Services Team and management on cases going to Employment Tribunal.
- To play an active role in providing support, training, guidance and development of staff in the ER Team - aim to develop a body of knowledge in the team.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- The incumbent in a Supervisory role with lead a team of 2-4 resource to manage performance & resolve any noted skill deficiencies and arrange for appropriate action to be taken to address the problem.
