Senior Manager - Downstream - Oil & Gas Domain

- Support proposals and author the Industry differentiation aligning to client requirements

- Manage and refresh the content for training the practitioners in Oil & Gas domain

- Nurture the team of Oil & Gas consultants who are part of practice

- Guide and coach the practitioners to enable them play the domain consultant role while working with various accounts

- Prepare business plan for the year and keep track of the actions throughout the financial year

- Align with Industry trends and build assets which will demonstrate benefits to the clients

- Work closely with key accounts identified and ensure lead generation/origination

- Lead accounts from Industry perspective, as needed which may include managing delivery of consulting or projects in OT area

- Travel to client locations on need basis for short term/long term as desired by the organization to play domain consultant role or participate in Orals

- Take end to end Ownership of clients visiting India and showcase the Organization capabilities

- Drive Thought leadership leading to publishing white papers, representing in global seminars, filing patents for the innovative ideas converted to assets.

Skills :

- Profound knowledge about Oil & Gas value chain from Upstream to Retail

- In depth knowledge of Downstream business cutting across Refinery, Petrochemicals, Marketing & Distribution

- Fair knowledge about the Retail business and Forecourt automation

- Thorough knowledge of IT enablement for Energy downstream business which includes ERP and IT-OT integration

- Should have End to end business process knowledge of Oil & Gas downstream business with IT systems mapping to the same

- Strong command and updated knowledge on the trends and digital technologies being used in the domain

- Should have been power user of multiple IT systems supporting the manufacturing business in Downstream, Or should have strong command on more than 2 applications in the space of Manufacturing Operations Management/Manufacturing Execution System. This includes applications in the areas of Planning & Scheduling, Operations management, Tank Inventory management, Plant historian, LIMS, Yield accounting, SAP IS Oil etc

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Be a story teller for any topic across Oil & Gas

- Ability to connect with global stakeholders and clientele

- Structured and diligent approach, positive and flexible attitude with an amiable personality

- Good Leadership, and Team management skills

Pre-requisites/ Qualifications :

- Chemical or Petrochemical Engineer with a minimum prior work experience of 15 years

- Should have worked in Refinery or Petrochemical complex in core operations

- Should have played an Industry SME and Practice lead role in IT enablement while in previous organization(s)

- Should have done client facing roles either in consulting, or delivery, or extensively in client orals which resulted in winning business

- Desired international exposure
