Senior Manager - Disaster Recovery Management - SME

- Support establishment of Disaster Recovery Plans and ensure they are exercised for Business critical applications/services to proactively identify risk and prepare contingency plan to support any disaster

- Establish and maintain the overall plans for executing all DR procedures and understand their interdependencies

- Maintain regular communication with the IT business leaders/FPRs, educating application owners about current, changing, and/or recommended requirements to support Disaster Recovery Program

- Assist in the documenting action plans for lesson learnt related to Disaster Recovery exercise

- Initiate and maintain a strong relationship with SBIC IT DR plan owners and vendors to ensure Disaster Recovery plans remain current and updated

- Conduct regular Disaster Recovery process trainings focusing on continuity Management process, Disaster Recovery best practices/lessons learns and stewardship responsibilities to support any disaster or major outage/events

- Work closely with IT Leaders to ensure recovery plans are institutionalized for effective and timely recovery

- Establish Automation Practices for Switch over and Switch back of Applications

- Work closely with IT Leaders leaders to support efforts tied to Disaster Recovery in case of any major event or incident

- Oversee and run project activities tied to Disaster Recovery program

- Able to execute and deliver projects in the IT DR Domain

- Conduct DR Drills as per the DR drill schedule to meet compliance requirements

- Record Learnings from DR Invocation and Drill activities and ensure they are incorporated in future Drills

- Should have IT project management experience on IT Infrastructure and IT Disaster Recovery

- Hands on experience on IT DR tools like IBM RO/Sanovi & Perpetuity

- Should have led large size Programs (Preferably Data Center Transitions and Transformations)

- Should have experience dedicated to disaster recovery operations and management in the financial or other similar industry

- Knowledge of disaster recovery principles and familiar with ISO 22301 or ISO 27031 standard

- Ability to engage with functional stakeholders and collaborate on the design, implementation and maintenance of IT DR Plans

- Strong foundation in IT operations or IT Service

- Experience in blended environments, e.g. traditional IT, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS

- Good understanding of computing platforms, including networks, server, storage, database, application

- Familiarity with IT best practices and IT leading standards

- Precise written and spoken communication skills with the ability to maneuver in both technical and non technical audiences

- Ability to determine the impact of challenges to IT services on business function operations

- 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Projects such as DC Transition and Transformation

- Must have 5+ years of experience dedicated to disaster recovery operations and management in the financial or other similar industry
