Senior Manager/Director - Cloud Operations - Infrastructure

Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Manager/Director - Operations with experience in network, systems and storage to support cloud operations. This position is located in Bangalore, India. This person will play a key service delivery and support role for the company's operations, including supporting and maintaining the company's data center infrastructure, servers, and networks, and directly supporting the customers. This person will be on-call, and will manage the tier 2 support group worldwide.

- Assist in the setup, operation and maintenance of data centers

- Lead the support teams and transform them into a SLA lead customer focused team

- Designing and implementation of hybrid hosting services for the customers

- Domain expert with solutions for mission critical cloud services: SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.

- Deep understanding, diverse hands-on experience with complex networking and computing platforms.

- Proven success with global tech infrastructure, secure HA solutions, and disaster recovery.

- Delivering scalable projects on time utilizing industry standards including ISO900x, Six Sigma and ITIL.

- Demonstrated capability in managing multi-location technical teams supporting 24/7 operations.

SLA definition, measurement and compliance

- Excellent People Management skills, talent retention and capability development, Vendor Management, Budget planning and allocation.

- Working experience with Linux and Windows OS and Security.

- Hands on experience to troubleshoot and resolve server and/or network related problems

- Working experience with VMware technologies.

- Working experience with Routers, Switches.

- Working experience with Firewall, VPN, Load balancers is a plus

- Experience with major storage platforms (EMC, NetApp, Hitachi, Nimble etc).

Qualifications include:

- Excellent verbal and written and inter personal communication and customer interaction skills

- Broad-based knowledge of experience in network, systems and storage

- Deep knowledge of server hardware and server components

- Good understanding of IP networks and their implementation

- Detail-oriented and ability to meet deadlines, Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
