We at Tracers India Search Pvt. Ltd. have an opening for the post of Senior Manager-Direct tax with one of our esteemed well known Indian based manufacturing client in India.

Designation: Senior Manager-Direct tax

Job location: Chennai (Corporate office)

Reporting to VP Finance & Accounts (Head)

Basic Function:

- This role holder is a part of the Direct tax at the company and the incumbent will lead the Direct tax function for the company.

Specific Responsibilities:

This role holder is a part of the direct tax function at the company and the incumbent will lead the direct tax function for the company. Incumbent would be responsibilities for:

- To ensure the Statutory Direct Tax Compliance of the group.

- Preparation and finalization of Computation of Income Tax of the company in accordance with the Direct Tax Law.

- E-filing of Income Tax Return of the company (including group companies)

- Various Direct Tax planning to try and minimize the overall tax burden on the group.

- Preparation of the various information related to the Assessment, Appeals and other various proceedings under the Income Tax Act with a view to make them presentable to the Income Tax department.

- Drafting of various submissions to be filed with the Income Tax department related to the various proceedings under the Income Tax Act.

- Preparation and finalization of Tax audit report and Reconciliation of Tax related accounts.

- Interaction with the Statutory Auditor for Provision for Income Tax calculation

- Liaison with Income Tax Authorities for various matter (Assessment, Transfer Pricing hearing, appeal hearing etc).

Education And Experience Requirements:

Education required: Chartered Accountant

Experience required: 15-20 years (Post Qualification).

Candidate Age: 40-45 years

Knowledge / Skill required:

- Should have exposure in SAP environment
