Strategy & Planning :
- Undertake strategic planning on achieving sales targets for the channel
- Develop sales targets for the Group / Cluster / Team within the channel
- Ensure monitoring and analysis of performance of each Group / cluster / team against identified targets
- Implement incentive schemes for the channel
- Provide inputs for product improvements, new product launches and improvement in sales processes
- Ensure allocation of budgets to various clusters and adherence to them
- Ensure and implement Best practices in the channel
Strengthen relationship with partners / Distributor :
- Manage & enhance relationship with the customer
- Maintain clear communication with the customer
Sales growth and cost management :
- Ensure achievement of sales targets for the channel.
- Ensure successful launch of new products and marketing promotional campaigns within the Channel
- Review monthly sales targets and discuss with cluster heads on backlog, customer feedback, and other insights from field force
- Effectively manage overheads and thus ensure reduction of cost of operations for the channel/zone
Customer satisfaction and retention :
- Monitor satisfaction of the channel's customers through a customer satisfaction index based on parameters such as customer complaints
- Ensure Company provides superior sales experience to its customers in the channel
People Management :
- Develop the recruitment and training plan for the Channel's distribution team in line with the overall recruitment & training plan and ensure recruitment and training of the team as per the plan
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical people related issues in the channel
- Take responsibility for development of team members and planning for succession; acting as mentor and coach and taking follow up action to ensure employee satisfaction and motivation
