Senior Manager/DGM - Product Management - Insurance

NOTE: Age limit is -36 yrs

POSITION TITLE: Product Manager

Position Summary:

Product manager role is dynamic & role priorities would range between: A. Launching products, B. Spearheading categories like Protection & Health, C. Activities that involve working with different departments towards fulfilling Product led initiatives.

Key Accountabilities :

Development of new products (Protection & Health focus)

- Product Innovation

a. Facilitating innovation feedback

- Brain Storming session with Management / Sales Forces / Trainers

b. Analyze product innovation

- Domestic Market

- International Market

- New Product support

- Propose Product Features based on a product idea or request

- Coordinate with Actuarial, Sales channel for approval of product features

- Coordinating with other departments (IT/Finance/Ops/Underwriting/Investment) for feasibility

- Creating Processes and systems in coordination with other teams

- Maintaining accuracy and consistency between marketing material and actual product/process information

Ensure smooth product launch

Product Management

- Product lifecycle management with focus on key customer segments

- Product analysis for Management giving updates on all existing and new products performance based and improvement in product performance after enabling through various sales support initiatives

- Product Knowledge

a. For Management review - Product Analysis Note

Sales Team - Strengthen the sales force through updates on competitor product information and insurance concepts

Product Benchmarking

- Market Watch -

a. Insight into competitor strategies for entering new segments/product range

b. New Product Comparison

Monitoring Regulatory Changes

Industry Preference: Life Insurance, Health Insurance
