About the Role - Senior Manager/DGM - Corporate Communications: This position is part of the Group Corporate Communications team which is responsible for building and managing the reputation of Bharti Enterprises and its group companies. The team works closely with the Corporate Communications team in various group companies for all important announcements & interactions, major issues & crises. Specifically, this position assists the Head of Corporate Communications in ensuring adherence to communications guidelines & policies and preparing all communications relating to financial and shareholder issues, regulatory and policy matters. Role & Responsibilities: - Favourable positioning of key national initiatives and announcements of Bharti Enterprises and its group companies among its stakeholders - Managing any negative fallout of a crisis or emergency situation - Maintaining a good relationship with the media - Development and updation of PR and external communication guidelines - Review and governance of communication activities across group companies - Informing senior management about developments in environment and telecom sector Desired Qualifications : Experience : At least 10 years of experience of working in Corporate Communications Department of a large organisation and/or with a reputed PR agency; Experience of working in a matrixed environment Education & Skills : Post Graduate in Business Management/ Communications, Good writing skills; Ability to create good communication strategies; Understanding of business
