Urgent opening for Sr. Manager / DGM for a corporate Location : Hyderabad Exp : Min 12 - 16 yrs Qualification : CA / ICWAI - (inter also will be eligible ) - Exp only from Indian AS - Very good in Direct and Indirect Taxation (handling inhouse ) - Worked closely with TOP Management - Managed Investment portfolio - Exp in Retail / Distribution / Ecommerce sectors would be an advantage . - Experience and knowledge of Ind AS is a MUST. - Should have experience in Microsoft Access and other Financial ERP's. - Should have strong knowledge of Direct and Indirect Taxes. - Should have worked closely with the top management. - Worked or got reviewed by Big 4 audit firms will be an added advantage. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Responsibilities : - Plan and direct the accounting activities of the department. - Established internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation. - Oversee preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets. - Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; file annual corporate tax return. - Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and central regulations; coordinate with outside auditors and provide needed information for the annual external audit. - Provide financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations. - Technically sound and experienced in framing tax strategies for the organization having multiple legal entities that bring tax efficiencies and protect from tax litigation. - Review process across India, identify the gaps and take corrective actions. - Hands-on experience in managing regular compliances related to Direct/Indirect Tax. - Ensure monthly tax payments are done before due dates, quarterly / annual returns are filed before due dates. - Manage tax audits, ensure annual tax returns are being reviewed and required information is provided to tax consultants. - Support with the annual corporate income tax reporting under IFRS including calculation of current and deferred tax positions. - Review GST returns and supporting documentation to ensure timely filing is done. - Be aligned with organizational goals, focusing on optimizing investments and minimizing tax liabilities
