Senior Manager/DG Finance|CA/MBA Finance|Entertainment Industry

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION : A Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance with at 6-10 yrs of post qualification experience with at least 2 yrs of experience in handling Investor relations portfolio of any company; investor relationship management of listed company would be preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Responsible for assisting SVP Finance for all Financial Planning & Analysis, Investor Relations and corporate finance work.

- This shall include on an independent basis handling of all handling the Investor Relations function for the company including meeting research analysts and institutional investors, assisting in M&A and strategic transaction evaluation, Project feasibility review and analysis for various multiplex opportunities, financial analysis, evaluation, MIS and reporting.

REPORTS TO : Senior Vice President- Finance

SPECIFIC DUTIES :

I. Business Plan/ Projections & Cash Flow Projections :

- Prepare business plans/ financial projections for the company on 5-7 years basis and update it regularly

- Funding and cash flow forecasting for the company & Monitoring of budget vs Actual spends

- Preparing quarterly outlook of business

II. Investor Relations :

Independently manage the Investor relations portfolio for the company including :

- Preparing Investor presentations and regular updates for investor communication

- Liaising with various research and broking firms to ensure a continuous research coverage on Company's stock

- Further expanding the research coverage of the stock with reputed research broking houses

- Meeting institutional investors, fund managers and participating in various investor conferences / roadshows along with the CFO/ SVP Finance

- Staying updated with the industry developments (global and local) and analyse its impact on the business.

- Articulate and communicate company's response to either company specific or industry specific subject matter to analysts and institutional investors

III. M&A and strategic initiative support :

- Assist SVP Finance and CFO in evaluating various M&A and strategic transactions undertaken by the company

- Prepare financial models for such opportunities and undertake critical analysis

- Prepare presentation and valuation models

IV. Project feasibility review :

- Maintenance and development of the Project feasibility software of the company

- Financial analysis skills to prepare feasibility reports and evaluate various multiplex opportunities across the country

- Financial analysis skills to evaluate opportunities for various new ventures that company intends to set up

V. Decision support :

- Prepare and update various MIS and financial reports required for the business.

- Perform ad hoc analysis for the purposes of decision support to financial & operational management;

- Assist in development, revision and monitoring of Companys short / medium / Long term business plans

- Preparation and revision of Companys budgets from time to time

- Financial and Business evaluation of various Operations related Initiatives

VI. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES :

- Strong knowledge in the area of finance and accounting with strong financial modelling skills on Microsoft excel;

- Strong presentation & communication skills needed to make various internal and external presentations;

- Strong analytical ability gained through looking at the numbers;

- Superior interpersonal and negotiating skills;

- Well developed relationship building skills;

- Fluency in English

- Excellent communication Skills (written and verbal) with ability to independently manage internal & external relationships

- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to take initiatives independently

- Strong analytical mindset

- Excellent financial analysis skills with ability to draw inferences by evaluating financial statements

- Strong understanding of corporate finance functions

- Understanding of various valuation methods including DCF, relative valuation

- Ability to prepare financial models by understanding the key drivers of business and using them to project future performance

- Experience of managing M&A and fund raising transactions

- Proficient in MS office (including Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
