Role & Responsibility: - Data Scientists will be responsible for providing Risk management solution and fraud prevention. - Responsible for development and implementation of world class credit and fraud risk machine learning models across customer lifecycle (e.g. underwriting, portfolio management and collections) - Ability to incorporate alternate data sources to improve risk assessment - Setting up risk monitoring and alerts across our loan product portfolio - Through world class innovation and analytics, create segmentations; develop new KPIs, models and strategic analytics to solve key business problems in customer management and collections - Responsible for building and implementing next generation predictive models leveraging traditional and non-traditional data. - Interact and at times work with external partners in the industry to ensure he/she remains abreast with the knowledge in financial services especially in analytics domain - Successfully conceptualise, develop and deploy advanced analytics solutions in a high performing environment to through data augmentation, value extraction and monetization Ideal Candidate: - Minimum 3 - 8 years (2.5 - 10 years) of relevant work experience in delivering advanced analytics and BI solutions through analytics consulting - In depth understanding of one or more of Banking, Insurance and Healthcare industries (preferably India market) and related functional areas - Ability to translate high level business problems to an analytics problem statement - Experience in scoping, development, validation & deployment of explanatory, predictive, and prescriptive analytic solutions - Knowledge of DS / ML / AI techniques - when and why they are used and interpretation of results from a business viewpoint - Ability to discover patterns in data and deliver impactful insights in the context of client decision making - Experience in stakeholder management, driving project governance, and linking analytics to business value delivered - Hands-on experience in data handling using SQL and advanced analytics tools such as R and / or Python - Hands on Experience in analysing and visualizing data using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI - Excellent written, oral, presentation, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. - MBA from reputed institutes preferred
