Senior Manager - Data Privacy - MNC ITES/ IT company
Privacy and Security analysis :
- The role Privacy and Security analysis will serve as a generalist in the Information Security & Privacy Department, with a focus on global privacy requirements, performing tasks as requested by the Privacy lead and Global Privacy Office. The primary responsibilities will include but not limited to the developing of analytics to track and trend Global Privacy Office metrics such as disclosure activity, Privacy audit results, data mapping requirements, and participation in Privacy Impact Analysis. Additionally, the role will be responsible for learning software tools for use with meeting company's privacy and security obligations, as well as performing management oversight for remediating gaps with state of security and privacy.
- The individual must be familiar with privacy obligations from the countries company operate within, especially those with strict laws such as the European Union, and the United States. In addition, the individual must have good communication and project management skills, as well as a desired willingness in gaining a deeper understanding in Information Security, and policy development.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain Privacy policies related to regulatory requirements of company's operations
- Leverage existing and establish new protocols for disseminating privacy policy requirements across the company
- Conduct privacy risk assessments, follow up with appropriate business units and review for level of risk and compromise.
- Daily monitoring of incoming Privacy Office and HIPAA complaints addressed to mailbox
- Develop appropriate trend analyses and corrective action plans from audit results
- Maintain the PHI Disclosure Log for all healthcare units
- Participate with Investigation of privacy incidents
- Maintain the internal department case log of all reported issues including Privacy Policy violations, lost devices, etc.
- Perform HIPAA risk assessments, review HIPAA training, monitor results and make
- Recommendations for additional training as needed
- Support Privacy Managers as requested.
Experience :
- Three to four years of prior working in a role with addressing privacy and security requirements. Overall 6 yrs+ experience required.
- Development of privacy policies and communication to constituency
- Participation with privacy organizations
Education :
BS/BA/ MBA / any other relevant qualification in business or a legal practice"
