Senior Manager - Data & Insights COE

DESCRIPTION :


- This is an opportunity to be a part of Data & Insights Centre of Expertise (CoE) team, based out of Gurugram office, and partner with case teams primarily in Performance Improvement practice area to build IP and deploy products globally. Within the CoE, the Support Functions CoE specializes in building KPI repositories and analytical solutions focused on solving strategic problems in General and Administrative (G&A) functions for clients across industries.

- Data & Insights CoE consists of 100+ team members, working with multiple practices like Performance Improvement, Retail, Consumer Products, Financial Services, etc.

- As Manager, you will lead multiple teams of Project Leaders, Associates and Analysts to manage Support Functions (Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Real Estate & Facility Management) data assets, co-develop diagnostic tools with PI practice and support case teams/ clients with benchmarking and data insights. Managers work under the guidance of a Sr. Manager/ Director playing a key role in driving the teams overall work, domain expertise, client/ stakeholder communication, and people management.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Lead Support Functions CoE team (15 people)

- Ensure timely, high-quality delivery to clients through effective team management; define deliverables; prioritize and set deadlines; review work, provide feedback and ensure quality control

- Identify and proactively resolve problems and roadblocks on projects and escalate issues as needed

- Develop domain expertise across various Corporate Support functions, along with capabilities such as Shared Services, Automation, Outsourcing etc.

- Contribute to development of new products, IP within COE, including improving methodologies, tools, techniques and developing new ideas and approaches

- Ensure utilization targets are met for the teams managed

Own and manage client/ stakeholder relationships

- Maintain a strong, collaborative relationship with PI practice stakeholders

- Understand client/ case team needs, situations and adapt output to expectations

- Effectively manage client and team meetings and deliver clear and professional presentations to team, team leaders and managers/ partners across system

- Collaborate with practice stakeholders to develop new products/ solutions and provide necessary tools support

- Look for opportunities to pitch products to case teams, execute end-to-end deployment and close loop with feedback calls

Manage hiring, coaching and retention of top talent

- Develop professional development plans, provide coaching/training, recognize accomplishments of Project Leaders (PLs) and Associates as direct reports

- Constructively engage in mutual feedback process with supervisor and direct reports; provide concrete, regular and actionable feedback

- Deliver performance reviews, objectively recommend performance ratings

- Support CoE in recruitment of new talent and talent development plans

Desired Candidate Profile :

- In case highest qualification is UG 8-11 years of experience in a global professional services firm with 2-3+ years of exposure to business research and consulting

- In case highest qualification is PG 6-9 years of experience in a global professional services firm with 2-3+ years of exposure to business research and consulting

- Mandatory to have experience with Performance Improvement/ Support Functions

- Proven track record of managing multiple customers/ stakeholders and teams Education

- Incumbent should be a MBA graduate from top-tier institute AND have pursued a commerce/ statistical/ analytical course from a Tier 1 university.
