Senior Manager - Data Governance - Business Data Stewards

JOB PURPOSE:

The purpose of the role is to ensure that the discipline of Data Governance is driven throughout the Bank. The person will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the Bank's data related policies, standards, practices, processes and ensure adherence to the same.

Key Responsibility Areas :

1. Monitoring of Data Management

2.Governance Policies, Procedures, Processes, Standards

3. Control Assess and report the progress and programme.

4. Providing inputs and recommendation on Master Data Management, Reference Data 5.Management and Data Quality Preparing Data Governance scorecard

6. Escalation of any data governance related issues identified to the senior leadership

7. Tracking of Data Governance action plan

8. Managing change management processes in the Data Governance.

9. Facilitating and /or conducting audits to ensure that Policies, Procedures, Processes and standards to ensure they are implemented in letter and spirit

10. Ensuring timely action and response to relevant Data Owner and Data Originator/User 11. Help business understand the Data Governance problem and highlight the business impact of failures
