Senior Manager - Credit Risk - Fintech Startup

Our client is a startup founded by alumnus of IIM C and MDI Gurgaon. The company operates in the fin-tech domain, helping customers to improve their credit ratings and get access to better financing options and also providing leads and sales enablement services to companies in the BFSI domain.

- The company is a stable one with a track record of 5 years in which it has helped millions of retail customers improve their credit health and get access to better financing options.

The responsibilities of a Credit Risk Manager will be as follows :

- Prepare underwriting documents for management review on accounts with risk exceeding the standard thresholds.

- Will be involved in general Credit Policy and process development and handle escalated underwriting issues.

- Review and continuously evaluate credit worthiness of existing client who have significant Risk exposure.

- Managing the transaction and client monitoring activities.

- Document credit analysis and rationale for credit decisions.

- Execute credit decisions on a wide range of corporate credit transactions including underwritings and participations primarily focused in the Leveraged Lending market.

- Formulating credit policy

- To develop and implement policies and procedures for the identification, classification, mitigation and analysis of risk

- Continuous market analysis and market study.

- Will be overall responsible for Day to day operations(incl reporting to Sr. Mgmt), supervise and train Credit and Risk Officers & play active role in System and process enhancements.

- Has direct interaction and conducts negotiation with clients as well as manage escalated calls and resolve problems.

- Assist the Risk Management Group in research and analysis on industries/clients/markets.

Candidate Profile :

- The Candidate should be an MBA from an elite institute

- Should have experience of doing credit risk assessment for mortgages and unsecured loans to individuals

- Performs duties, applying broad knowledge of credit risk principles, practices and procedures
