Job Description :

- Prioritizes and processes incoming credit requests, checks completion of package received from RM and ensures timely completion of credit underwriting/CA including any interim transaction requests

- Prioritises and processes incoming credit requests, checks completion of package received from RM and ensures timely completion of credit underwriting/CA including any interim transaction requests

- Conduct an objective and thorough credit analysis of the financial condition and credit-worthiness of existing and new to bank borrowers using analysis of historical and projected financial statements, biographical data, market information, credit reports and other data

- Identifies key transactional risks & mitigates

- Raise relevant questions to drive deeper analysis of customers for annual reviews and new under-writings

- Maintain in depth knowledge of credit and policies and practices and applicable local and US regulations to assist the Business in achieving compliance and satisfactory internal and external audit results

- Continue to generate ideas for improving lending process efficiency

- Structuring competitive credit proposals aligned with risk standards and with understanding the client's strategic and financial objectives/needs

Job Responsibilities :

- Work with RM's in the market on new client on-boarding, underwriting, credit reviews, and annual renewals of existing credit facilities

- Assist RM's with the preparation and presentation of materials for credit approvals

- Work with Independent Risk and Early Warning teams to timely identify and escalate risk issues/trends - this would include making credit calls on clients

- Work with RMs & Risk on preparing CCR for Special Mention names and monitoring triggers and agreed action plans

- Complete all relevant training (classroom and/or self-paced)

- Build and maintain a sound understanding of Citi products, policies and processes(within Commercial Banking and the broader organisation)

Profile :

Professional Qualifications :

- CA/MBA from a reputed University.

A successful Candidate should :

- Relevant work experience and should be well versed with credit analysis and credit underwriting.
