Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement credit risk management policies and procedures for the company's lending portfolio

- Analyze and evaluate credit applications and assess the creditworthiness of borrowers

- Manage the credit approval process, including credit underwriting and loan structuring

- Monitor and manage the credit portfolio, ensuring that it is within the company's risk appetite and regulatory limits

- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as credit bureaus and other service providers, to support the credit risk management function

- Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews of the credit portfolio, identifying potential credit risks and developing strategies to mitigate those risks

- Provide regular reporting and analysis of credit portfolio performance to senior management and other stakeholders

- Manage a team of credit analysts and underwriters, providing leadership and guidance to ensure their professional development

- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies related to credit risk management

- Develop and maintain effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders, including borrowers, investors, and regulators.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in credit risk management in a financial institution or fintech company, with at least 3 years in a senior management role

- Strong knowledge of credit risk management principles, practices, and regulatory requirements

- Experience in developing and implementing credit risk policies and procedures

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong leadership and people management skills

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Proficient in the use of relevant software applications, such as credit scoring models, data analysis tools, and loan origination systems.
