- Should be managing a team in current role. Individual contributors are not considered.
- Should have experience in creative writing for 360-degree campaigns, especially the digital mediums.
- Solid understanding of social platforms and digital technology and can use it to create exciting engagement pieces
- Work experience spanning a variety of marketing touchpoints and creative disciplines including experiential, events, tours, product launches, partnerships, digital, content and social media and traditional above-the-line
- Flawless English writing/ grammatical ability, outstanding presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Experience balancing the constraints of project timeline and budget managing projects of varying scale, audience, format and channel
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Lead a variety of high visibility media and influencer programs designed to drive awareness, engagement, and brand equity
- Write or edit key company initiatives
- Direct and edit writing from agencies and other teams
- Maintain a high-quality bar for writing
- Ensure creative projects are delivered on time in accordance with the marketing schedule.
- Ensure content conforms to brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Obtain stakeholder buy-in on new complex or challenging ideas
- Translate briefs and objectives to creative briefs that inspire the creative team
- Lead internal review sessions and provide clear and objective critiques of creative work
DESIRED EXPERIENCE :
- 2+ experience managing, directing, and/or mentoring other writers. Significant management and mentoring experience
- Develop, coach and mentor creative talent, ability to manage and mentor a team of discipline leads, ensuring effectiveness of team output and adherence to project demands.
- Ability to drive complex writing initiatives
- Experience defining and rolling out a brand voice system
PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENTS:
- Portfolio demonstrating mastery in concept strategy/execution, consumer stories, brand experiences and cultural - moments- on across all mediums and forums
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Undergraduate degree in English Literature/Journalism & Mass Communication
- PGDM/Masters in any of the above is a plus
INTERVIEW PROCESS :
- There will be 3 rounds of interviews including case study, Q&A & writing test.
