Implement Sustainability initiatives based on Sustainability Framework developed. Manage, Monitor and Report in internal/external disclosures.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage Sustainability department and its responsibilities while implementing/reporting
Sustainability Report
- Align the Sustainability Report to UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Develop a Sustainability Roadmap 2030 and track performance
- Initiate Stakeholder Engagement. Set Materiality Matrix for identifying Material Topics for the organization.
- Initiate a comparative performance of last 3 years for the environment and social parameters.
Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)
Disclosures of parameters set by CDP for:
- Value Chain Management
- Targets
- Scope 1,2 and 3 emissions
- Risk Management processes
- Risk Disclosures
- Governance
- Energy
- Emissions reduction initiatives
- Business Strategy and Financial planning.
- Risk Management & Audits
Represent department for ISO Audits, Internal Audits, Process audits and as per requirements.
- Engage with team for data and implementation of processes to adhere to risk management requirements
- Review and approve Business Impact Analysis for Business Continuity Plan
- Develop and implementation of Sustainability Process and Organization Layer
Agreement as per BEU deliverables set by Quality team.
- Drive Green Initiatives
- Understand Gaps in carbon data disclosure.
- Reduce Energy consumption as given in the Carbon Neutrality roadmap
- Initiate Recycling initiatives.
- Initiate Peer Analysis on carbon disclosures
- Science Based Targets
- Drive LTI Brand Visibility
- Increase visibility of CSR programs through external communications
- Attend conferences/seminars for enhancing brand image and visibility of the company in forums.
- Sustainability Budget
- Finalize budget with approval within the stipulated timeframe set by the Finance department.
- Monitor Utilization and provisions
Secondary Responsibilities
- Training and Development - Capacity building
- Provide support for Sustainability Assessments and Awards. and Carbon Disclosure Project, Client RFP's
- Adherence to time discipline & work with a proactive approach
- To provide timely and accurate data for the weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual reports as per timelines
KPIs
- Sustainability Report - Release post Assurance Statement with design version by October
- Carbon Disclosure Project - Maintain Management level rating and progress towards leadership ranking
- Risk Management and ISO Audits- Completion of audits with zero flags and on timelines set by Risk department and Quality.
- Drive Green initiatives- Provide avenues/platforms to departments i.e. Admin, Travel and CSR to engage and access potential green initiatives implementation.
- LTI Brand visibility - Gain traction and appeal for the organization by increasing the Engagement rate of CSR and Sustainability media posts.
- Analyzes and comprehends organizational goals and strategies.
- Assesses and links short-term tasks and objectives in the context of long-term business strategies or perspectives and industry trends.
- Understands the business matrices, customer satisfaction indicators, financial indicators, people dimensions & business implications of opportunities and decisions.
- Uses business acumen to give direction to implement business strategies and improve team's performance.
- Forsees the big picture by combining an awareness of business issues, processes, outcomes, and the impact they have on the team's success
