Senior Manager/Controller - Finance - Internet/Online - CA

Key responsibilities :

Finance :

- Assisting building out the finance team with the goal of establishing a world- class and institutional finance, reporting and internal control structure

- Assisting the CFO in fund raising activities from various lenders. Facilitating the debt sanction process including supervision of various diligences etc. Reviewing loan documents.

- Managing project- level debt funding and maintenance.

- Responsible for supervising daily project finance activities, equity/debt draw downs.

- Manage business and cashflow forecasting (long term planning and 13 week).

- Managing multiple banking relationships.

Reporting :

- Responsible for entity level accounting and book-keeping activities across various GAAPs, including monthly/quarterly book closures, direct and indirect tax filings, facilitating statutory and internal audits, monitoring daily cashflows, facilitating bank payments, etc.).

- Responsible for delivering all financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual), covering management and statutory accounts and FP&A.

- Responsible for setting up detailed systems, processes, procedures and controls relating to Internal Controls on Financial Reporting (ICFR).

- Prepare and review budgets and forecasts for Senior Leadership team, including timely & relevant reporting packages detailing financial & operational KPI's.

- Manage all statutory compliance obligations, including liaising with tax authorities and external auditors.

- Manage budgets and expenditure related to corporate expenditure and capital projects across development and construction work.

Systems, Controls and Process :

- Work with Finance and IT teams to establish and continue to update on relevant software/ERP and system platforms and oversee the efficient day- to- day operation on these systems.

- Implement adequate financial controls.

- Working with legal and compliance team, establish an appropriate risk management matrix and reporting.

General :

- Co-ordinating with tax and accounting advisors, government agencies, auditors etc.

- Provide analytical support to functional groups such as Sales, Marketing, HR, Marketing, & Operations

- Actively champion and implement policies and procedures for occupational health & safety in the workplace, information security management, environmental management systems; incident management; and comply with all legal regulatory requirements of the organization.

The successful candidate :

- Must be a Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 10 years of Industry experience in the Finance and Accounting function or must have worked at Big 4 audit firms (in their audit discipline).

- Strong preference for experience in working in a global environment as part of a multinational company.

- Experience in data centers/telecommunications/real estate or digital infrastructure sectors and worked along in development and construction projects is preferred.

- Experience in project finance and raising third- party debt is an added advantage.

- Strong core financial reporting skills covering consolidation, financial reporting, management reporting, ICFR and FP&A.

- Must be well networked with Big 4 audit and tax teams as well as large legal firms.

- Must have experience in working with established ERP systems like SAP, Oracle etc. Being part of an ERP implementation team is beneficial.

- Experience working with financial systems to extract data and perform ad- hoc analysis.

- A team player willing to be hands- on in a dynamic, unstructured and fast paced environment.

- Experience in a high- performing and tight- knit team.

- Ability to develop and maintain professional and respectful working relationships.

- Ability to prioritize and meet deliverables within agreed deadlines.

- Experience in reporting and presenting to multiple stakeholders.

- Process- oriented and automation mindset and High level of commercial acumen

- Ability to focus on meeting deadlines and prioritizing deliverables while managing multiple projects.

- Skillful in building relationships to positively influence decision making.

- Fluency in both written and spoken Hindi and English a must.
