Senior Manager - Content Writer

Job Title: Senior Manager : Content Writer (Only Bangalore based candidates)

Team Overview:

The Corporate Communications team aims to enhance awareness and understanding of the organization and its objectives through various initiatives, activities, and communication channels that span across the organization. The team is seeking to hire a content writer who can strategize content and convey corporate messages in the most compelling manner to relevant stakeholders (internal and external).

Role Description:

- Primary role - Plan and execute a content strategy for the Firm's internal and external communications channels

- Research, ideate, proofread/edit articles as required

- Write content for various channels, including digital signage, video scripts, thought leadership articles, feature articles, organizational announcements, Intranet and external website, and various internal and external marketing collateral, including talent marketing content

- Manage the editorial calendar; ensure that the content is represented appropriately across all channels

- Drive an integrated comms channel strategy for internal and external communications

- Be a consultant to business leaders on content, design, and tone of voice

- Provide speaking points and presentation content (if necessary) for leaders before their internal/external speaking sessions and events

- Secure approval from subject matter experts and relevant compliance functions, both at the regional and enterprise levels, before publishing

- Shortlist appropriate repositories for graphics to help support the design and development of effective communication collateral

- Monitor communication channels and content analytics; generate reports and help derive meaningful insights and trends from them for the leadership and organization

- Make data-driven decisions to improve content; devise strategies to enhance content and the effectiveness of channels

- Recommend strategies for improving the readership, adoption, and effectiveness of communication channels

- Collaborate with the India Talent Marketing team to create relevant collateral towards enabling hiring

- Support with content requirements for key corporate events and campaigns

- Design communication plans at the organization and business levels for campaigns and initiatives in collaboration with the business and other relevant stakeholders

- Develop and design new communication platforms, programs, and channels in alignment with business and organizational requirements. These include those that can enable leadership interaction with associates, enable leadership brand-building within the firm, and enhance associate engagement and alignment to the organization

- Recommend strategies for improving the adoption, readership, and effectiveness of communication channels

- Source, write and produce compelling content for the various communication channels

- Provide advice and guidance on best practices around internal communications to various internal teams

- Foster strong working relationships with colleagues across the organization to gather relevant news and deliver communication on activities that are in alignment with the firm's business strategy

- Establish close working relationships with US communication partners and appropriately align with the best practices being followed by the Central Communications team

Candidate Description:

- Rich experience in writing and editing articles

- A keen eye for detail

- Ability to design and write content for various formats - organizational announcements, executive talking points, event and marketing collateral, digital signage, website, Intranet content, video scripts, thought leadership, feature writing, and more

- An all-round understanding of the potential of various communication platforms (print, social media, digital media, events, etc.)

- Ability to stay ahead of the latest communication trends and come up with modern, new, and creative content strategies

- Excellent writing, storytelling, and presentation skills

- Search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) capabilities

- Should have a portfolio of published work and experience in writing for different content formats

- Ability to understand the business and its communication requirements in a holistic and in depth manner

- Ability to think logically and in a structured manner from all angles of the business, work closely with senior leaders of the business, define and put together structured and holistic communication plans in line with business requirements

- Comfortable with influencing and respectfully challenging senior leaders in a constructive manner

- Strong conceptualization and visualization capabilities

- Ability to comprehend the technical and user-interface aspects of various communication channels

- Sound knowledge of various communication channel effectiveness measurement/tracking tools and techniques and keen analytical ability to derive meaningful insights from data towards enhancing channel and platform effectiveness

- Good understanding of the factors and nuances that need to be taken into account when communicating across cultures and geographies

- Ability to think through the various aspects of a topic (risks, challenges, etc.) to offer solutions in accelerated timeframes

- Experience in vendor management

- Graphic design skills would be a plus

Qualification Requirements:
