JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title : Senior Manager Content Development

Reporting to (Position): Chief Manager - Content Development

Department: Sales Training

Sub- Department: Content Development

Band/Grade : 11

Reported By (Position):

Position Purpose: The jobholder is responsible for creating a learning focused sales organization by designing training modules (both instructor led training & eLearning programs) for the sales force across all channels

Qualification

- Any MBA/Post Graduation Degree/Professional Degree

Experience Range Required to man the position

- Number of years: 8 years with at least 5 years in sales training in an Insurance firm

- Preferred Nature of Industry: Insurance

Job Summary

Specific Accountabilities

- Content development using Instructional Design techniques and skills; Designing and developing contents and course material for training of various constituents of Bancassurance, Agency & Alternate Sales Teams

- Partner with Sales and Marketing to create Sales and Training Aids

- Mapping competition and building positioning and sales pitch against each competing company/ product

- On field training need analysis for various constituents across all Sales functions.

- Develop and manage certification processes, Implementing evaluation process online and offline to create a robust feedback and tracking mechanism on knowledge and skills of all the trainees

- Ensure standardisation of delivery post content creation and measure training effectiveness

- Creating Blended Learning Structures for various programs for all channels & functions

Skills Required

- Proven abilities in researching, adopting and introducing new training techniques, aids and technologies to manage change.

- Ability to understand global perspective.

- Ability to influence without formal reporting lines, and relate to people at all levels.

- Excellent knowledge on Banking and Insurance.

- Ability to design different levels of certification programs across channels and functions.

- Ability to build uniformity & standardization in content.

- Ability to fulfill skills & developmental needs on eLearning platform & Learning Management System (LMS)

- Ability to manage both the creative and administrative aspects of the role.

- Degree/Diploma/ Certification in Instructional design & Adobe Captivate 9.

- Ability to work on GoAnimate or similar software to create animated learning videos

- Should have excellent knowledge of MS PowerPoint & MS Excel.
