Job Summary

Lead and ensure the successful delivery of projects and IT solutions that satisfy consumer needs. Evaluate and pilot innovative solutions which can address anticipated customer needs along with business stakeholders. Applies defined Project Management practices to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, in scope, and are relevant to the business objectives. Financial Accountability (cost/revenue with exclusive authority) Oversee the Project Budget against initial estimates for over-run Evaluate Business benefits against developments and enhancements.

Job Responsibilities

Planning/ Strategy 3-1-Q

1. Prepare, manage and drive project plans/charters

2. Work closely with partners, functional and business excellence teams in planning and improving around requirement capture, development, testing and associated support services

3. Present necessary business case for investments and budget inputs to the IT Head

4. Evaluate and prioritize functionalities/development requests basis business need, scope of work, cost, and skill requirements

Key functional responsibilities

1. Responsible for delivering best in class consumer experience across channels (websites, mobile app, mobile site, digital menu boards, in-store gaming, self ordering kiosks)

2. Drive online delivery and restaurant process improvement, integration with ecosystem partners (food aggregators, delivery, payment providers)

3. Drive omnichannel CRM & Loyalty program, develop consumer experience and analytics platforms

4. Incorporate best practices in the field of technology and alignment with global standards and policies

5. Adopt standards and protocols for data exchange, communications, software and interconnection of information systems. Evaluation of external partners for all new digital technologies and strategic vendors for other IT products and services

6. Establish governance mechanisms for close functioning and alignment of IT team with business operations, Marketing and RSG

7. Make certain that solution design and delivery meet business requirements and expectations regarding cost, schedule and scope

8. Set priorities & lead the team towards meeting current and roadmap needs of the company

9. Review and govern policies and procedures to ensure the protection, integrity, security and privacy of information 

10. Guide IT managers in ensuring adherence to procurement and planning requirements, compliance with budget procedures

11. Govern implementation of all strategic projects and drive mechanisms to ensure successful implementation. Share project status updates with all key stakeholders and highlight any critical delays / impact

12. Enable IT team towards becoming business partners/ change agents for operations and other functions.

13. Monitor feedback on the service standards and feedback from consumers across channels, internal customers and devise action plans to enhance the quality of service / to correct the shortcomings, continually improve operations and streamline work processes.

14. Establish IT risk assessment frameworks and drive initiatives to achieve operational excellence People Management

15. Set clear and objective goals / key responsibilities for the team

16. Drive performance of team members and provide feedback on an ongoing basis

17. Facilitate identification and delivery of key learning & development goals (functional and behavioral) Cultivate a culture of excellence and process improvement
