Senior Manager - Consumer Insights (5-12 yrs)

1. Work with internal marketing 'customers' to scope and implement research schedules to enable business growth

2. Own always-on tracks (quant & qual) & organize primary research through appropriate methods, based on business objectives

3. Liaise with external partners and streamline internal processes to implement consumer research and control costs

4. Collaborate internally to ensure intelligence is presented and shared with appropriate groups and individuals

5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data veracity, evaluating its credibility and utility

6. Translate data into executable and effective reports, providing

a. insights that support strategic decision-making and for use in internal presentations by leadership

b. market and competitive insights to allow effective tactical decision-making and implementation

7. Find opportunities to create and automate repeatable analyses or build self-service tools/dashboards for marketing 'customers'

8. Work closely with marketing analytics colleagues OR research suppliers to develop, operationalize and manage dashboards

9. Function as consumer advocate to represent customer's voice in business decisions

10. Become an expert on brand health and marketing campaign measurement

11. Become an invaluable project management resource for studies covering a variety of topics: brand strategy, brand health, advertising measurement, consumer attitudes and usage.

Required Experience

- Min. 6 years of experience in marketing/market research/insights, corporate or agency with experience conducting analysis of primary quantitative market research data

- Foundational understanding of branding, advertising (traditional and digital), marketing concepts and strategy

- Intellectually curious and analytically rigorous, strong attention to detail, Excel mastery

- A sense of urgency, a proactive approach

- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate analyses into easily digestible stories for internal consumption

- Exemplary interpersonal skills, relationship building and team work

- Ability to manage through ambiguity; display organization dexterity

- Exceptional project management; strong planner and problem solver

- Demonstrated strength in problem solving and analytics and capable of driving insight to action.
